For years, my colleagues in the business, professional and not-for-profit communities urged me to "go out on my own." I'd been a legal, accounting, and health care marketing professional, and for over a decade have helped numerous not-for-profit organizations with marketing, special events, operations, public relations, fund-raising, and communications.
