Mindy Ferrentino Wolfle founded Neptune Marketing LLC in 2005 to assist professionals, businesses, entrepreneurs, not-for-profits, and organizations in reaching their business development goals through targeted marketing. Neptune Marketing received third place in the 2010 Best of Long Island competition for public relations firms not a minor achievement for a sole practitioner! The voting is now on for 2011 honors, for which Neptune Marketing has again been nominated.

Ferrentino Wolfle began her professional life with the Nassau County Department of Social Services, where she developed her focus on human services and giving back to the communities in which we live and work. Through Neptune Marketing, she has had the opportunity to share her marketing, public relations and communications expertise with such organizations as the Elmont Memorial Library, Family and Children's Association, Literacy Nassau, Airmid Theatre Company, and Soroptimist International, as well as law schools, elder care, legal and accounting professionals, among others. Enjoying established relationships with reporters, editorial staff and advertising representatives in print and broadcast media, as well as with numerous and diverse members of the business, professional, government, not-for-profit, civic and philanthropic communities, Ferrentino Wolfle is the consummate networker and an asset to those drawing upon her talent and enthusiasm.

With countless volunteer and humanitarian affiliations, Ferrentino Wolfle is a member of the board of directors of Public Relations Professionals of Long Island (PRPLI); director of communications and public relations for Soroptimist International of Nassau County, and a member of WEDLI (Women Economic Developers of Long Island), LIWA (Long Island Women's Agenda), the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Long Island Chapter (AFPLI), and the fund development committee of Literacy Nassau. Both a committee member and workshop presenter, Ferrentino Wolfle added her marketing expertise to AFPLI's Philanthropy Day in 2010 and Hofstra University's Wom en in Career Transition Conference in 2009. She previously served on the executive board of the Long Island Center for Business & Professional Women; on the board of IABC-LI (International Association of Business Communicators, Long Island Chapter); and was a founding board member of the US Women's Chamber of Commerce on Long Island.

The recipient of many awards and recognition over the past decade, Ferrentino Wolfle was presented with PRPLI's Mentor of the Year Award in 2009; was named a Top 50 Most Influential Woman in Business by Long Island Business News in 2008, as well as the President's Award recipient from Soroptimist International. She was also recognized by the Long Island Center for Business and Professional Women in 2007, when she received the Achievers Award in Marketing, and was the recipient of Soroptimist's Making a Difference for Women Award in 2005. A frequent presenter of seminars and workshops on such topics as public relations and marketing, networking, entrepreneurship, and public speaking, Ferrentino Wolfle previously held marketing leadership roles at several large national accounting and law firms. She has authored numerous articles, interviews, opinion pieces, newsletters, and speeches.

One of Mindy's favorite quotes is attributed to the acclaimed Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning playwright, the late Wendy Wasserstein: "Don't live down to expectations. Go out there and do something remarkable." It's no surprise, then, that Wendy Wasserstein's message is central to Mindy Ferrentino Wolfle's own outlook on life and business.
